A message from the President : "Dear friends, I have seen NASA form, grow, mutate and regrow through the 11 years of its life. It was born as a dream, an idea, an inception formed back in Europe in 2005, a year that seams so close as it is long ago. We've been through some ups and downs, some steps forward, a few back, mistakes, reconsiderations, tensions, joys, satisfactions, emotions, love and excitement. I saw it all. I saw it grow from nothing into something that is today not only respected and loved, but that has touched the lives, changed the lives even, of hundreds of individuals. The ones that took our courses, came to our events, went through our programs and certifications. I saw friendships form, lovers bloom, careers launch, success stories of all kinds, not just the professional ones, the personal ones too. I can say with a sigh of satisfaction that I was there for all. I was there through all this rollercoaster ride, this open air theatre that NASA has been since day number one. I would never trade this past decade for anything. We learned from our mistakes, we improved, we thrived to continue and do better. I fought tooth and nail every day for the past 10 years in the interests of the North American Sommelier Association, going as far as Europe, China, Canada and all over the United States. It has been a formidable journey, one that changes you for good. I wish to sincerely send a heartfelt "thank you" to every soul that has touched NASA in any way through the years, all those I've met, taught for, shared experiences with. You have all been part of my life. The previous Executive Councils did an amazing job, to them goes my kudos...with my new team Nina, Irina, Stacie and Ciro, old friends, we will pick the up the torch and continue this incredible marathon called the North American Sommelier Association.
